Are you seriously asking this?

Everyone with a true feature back does the same

Really, really dumb post.

Name an equally talented and important running back in the NCAA that averages drastically less carries.
Thats just how it works. That's what you sign up for as a running back.
You've been spoiled after many years of multiple great backs on the same teams. Most teams don't have that luxury to rotate carries with so little drop off0

He was a part time starter this year, had a month layoff to the bowl game and will have three or four months to rest up before spring practice.

How would you tell if a RB was being overworked? I don't this is the same as a pitch count in baseball. I think you have to look if a RB is injured or absorbing too many hits.
Since yesterday was the last game of the season I don't think he was overused.

he barely played as a freshman. He's fresh

We've only got him for one more year...he averaged 15 carries/game on the season. He needs to average 24-26 carries/game against non-cupcakes next year.

LSU has not overworked Guice.
It's kind of dumb to worry about 26 carries in a bowl game with several weeks since the last game.
Having said that, Guice can't handle 26 carries a game throughout the season, IMO. I don't expect him to get that many on most weeks though.

A backup needs to step up next year to be at least serviceable

he is a student worker for Aranda.
LSU front office has him running the copy machine.
with a question like this you would think maybe the two carries he got against the Gumps was pushing it a bit.

Gump trolls are working overtime tonight.
