Be careful watch you wish for. Once Brees ages out we could be headed back closer to Cleveland than 8-8. I remember those days and got a lot of yard work in on Sundays.

We could hire Saban and at least give the Tigers a break.

Probably will sign somebody like Marvin Lewis to a 10 year deal.

True mediocrity can be achieved with the hiring of Jeff Fisher.

Keep the same offense

Jim Schwartz built a dynamic and angry defense in Detroit. They always played nasty (or dirty- if I'm being honest).

Neither makes the playoffs so what does it matter?

I would suggest Doug Marrone. He was a former OC under Payton and had good success as a head coach.

I'd like to see Carmichael get the opportunity if Payton were to leave this year

I know Ima get a lot dislikes and dumb comments for this but I'd rather be a 2-14 team instead of 8-8 every year and missing the playoffs, it's heartbreaking watching your team play like shite then when they finally get eliminated from the playoffs they are all of a sudden unbeatable, like wtf
