All my family is in Georgia and I have nothing to do today. I think I'll go as well.

No. It's complete fiction.

We've gone as a family the last several years.

I've been to the movies twice in the past four years that I can remember.

Never for Christmas. I feel I have way more shite to do and see than sit in the same spot for 2 hours.

If you're Jewish, sure. Hit up a Chinese restaurant after.

Yep. We usually do. I mean, there's a huge gap between opening presents and eating at 7-8. We don't share many interests. The movies make sense.

My fam and I have always gone Christmas afternoon. Didn't realize it was a thing with other families though. I thought we were the only losers.

Yes. It's the best. When I was a kid, we went to the movies as a family every thanksgiving and Christmas.

Honestly I can't remember the last time I've watched a movie period. I watched a couple with a girl at the beginning of the year on Netflix but that's it. It's been well over 6 months.

I seriously stay too active or just have bad ADD. I couldn't tell you the name of a single show that plays on evening television.

Please be considerate of the people sitting around you and chew your popcorn with your mouth closed. No one wants hear you stuff your fat face full of popcorn.

Thanks.

Definitely. I worked 5 Christmases at a movie theater and it is the second or third busiest day of the year. Usually starts off slow for the 10am shows but after that almost everything is sold out. Gets to be a madhouse by the prime sets.

Just the fact you call it "evening television" tells me you're not hip to the whole entertainment thing

I watch sports

And documentaries on Netflix.

Don't think I've watched an episode of a single show this year besides maybe some naked and afraid or maybe something on pbs or history channel.

You should. It's fun.

I grew up an only child, so my Christmas tradition was presents, lunch (sometimes at Ryan's), movie, and then to a friend's house to spend the night.

I didn't have a big family to hang out with, but I always loved Christmas day.

I worked at a movie theater in high school, Thanksgiving and Christmas day are some of the busiest of the year. Either everyone gets bored sitting at home after everything is done or they hate each other and want to get out of the house
