I know it's not even Christmas yet, but hot damn 2016 turned out being alright after the shite storm we saw in the first month. I'm at 14.87% as of market close 12/23 with a very passive allocation. I'm 60% S&P 500 index, 25% Mid-Cap index and 15% in an international index. I think the highest expense ratio is like 10 basis points on the international... so very cheap. What's yours???

I got in the game late this year, due to a rollover from a pension account. Anyway I'm at 8.7% year to date, allocated in VFIAX, which has a YTD return of 13.14%.

401k is sitting at an 11% YTD.

I was at 14% YTD as of Dec. 1.

OP should post more often. Specifically due to his avatar.

23.22% YTD - mainly because the company stock in my 401k is up 80%+.

Nice gains, how much of your and your employer's contribution is going to company stock?

Up 17.71% ytd. Hope to keep that ball rolling.

12% for me. 30% large cap, 30% small cap, 20% international, 20% bonds.

15.5%, was going to be Happy with around 9% for the year then Trump happened. 90% equally in Large, Mid, and Small Cap index funds, rebalanced as needed, 10% to dabble with some individual stocks or just leave in cash.
