Steve Young was nothing compared to Montana. Montana did to the Saints at the Dome what Payton has done to the Falcons. Only far, far more thoroughly and completely.

He flat out fricking owned our asses.

Nowadays it's Brady. But historically Montana may as well have had a minority stake in the New Orleans NFL Franchise. Go back and look it up.

We ended his never ending career as a viable starter in this league in the Dome with the SB on the line. Neutered him professionally. Had he been a race horse, we accomplished the equivalent of taking him behind the paddock, shooting him and then calling the folks at Elmers before loading him onto their flatbed to take down to the GD Glue Factory.

No way he ranks up there if you're talking Saints. Not after the NFCCG in 2009.

Peyton Manning destroyed the Saints so many times it was scary. A lot of other QB's did too, but it always seemed like he was up for us. That Thursday night game to start the season after the Colts won the SB was a nightmare. There was a MNF or SNF game in the Dome in the early 2000's when he had like 5 or 6 to passes and they took him out in the 3rd quarter.

I remember that game like it was yesterday. Saints got screwed that game. Had a ref looking straight at it and refused to call it.

Despite all this, the Saints had as much success against the Niners as anyone at the time.

As a Cowboys fan, any QB throwing to Randy Moss. I remember the Rhanksgiving game in '98 when Cunningham had three completions to Moss for 150 yards and 3 TDs.

Im a Saints fan but, facing Drew Brees in a prime time game has to be scary. You never know when he's gonna go all video game on your secondary (back end)

Tony Romo in crunch time Dec/Jan easily scared me the most.....being a Cowboys fan...

Started w/ the SEA K-ball on to the bone headed INT's at critical times

Joe Montana/Steve Young

Result was always the same for Saints fans.

If Falcons fans don't say Drew Brees, they are lying.
