My heart goes out to those sweet people living off gubment cheese. If only they would get a job and support themselves...

I feel for those folks, but they've been given six years to make their situations better. What do these people do for a living, and why aren't they any better off than they were six years ago?

I can't speak to the quality of the deal fifteen years ago but to me, the bottom line is simple.
There's no way this was a surprise to the tenants. They just fully expected that someone would save them.
And why not? That's the exact message they've been given. All you have to do is listen to their comments to figure that out.
And that's the problem. I know people sometimes need help. I've used more than $1500 of my own money to directly help people this holiday season.
But these fricks EXPECT it like it's OWED to them.
And, you might think I fully blame them for that but you'd be wrong.
They deserve partial blame but the do gooders deserve some too.
Humans are relatively predictable creatures in some things.
There's no way this was a surprise to the tenants. They just fully expected that someone would save them.
And why not? That's the exact message they've been given. All you have to do is listen to their comments to figure that out.

The man interviewed is a disabled vet. It isn't clear what the other tenants do or don't do for money.
