Adrian Peterson says he WILL play this week

I picked him up earlier this week.
Anyone playing him?

I picked him up this week and with Forte likely out and my other options being Powell or Montgomery I most likely will play him.

Assuming he is a go I have to decide between a inconsistent Mark Ingram and Adrian Peterson. Afraid I'm over thinking it.

He sucked before he got injured.

I would play both of those guys over Peterson.
ETA: I really don't know how Powell sits on anyone's bench if forte is out. I could maybe name 10 RBs I would definitely start over him.
Check that. There are 6 RBs I would without question start ahead of Powell. After that he's in the discussion.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't trust him enough to start him the week he comes back, but coming back this week does give you a week to see what he looks like if you make it to your champ game. He went from being close to totally irrelevant to at least something worth keeping an eye on.

I mean now they run primarily out of the shotgun. He doesn't do well out of the shotgun. He's an I form needs a FB guy

Honestly see him doing 8-10 carries 30-40 rush yds and shot at a TD
flex appeal at best....

He is still on waivers in my league. Semifinals
Can't start him this week and then don't like him at Green Bay the following week....probably just leave him on waivers.

Terrible OL but the Colts are a terrible DL, so tough call. I wouldn't start him unless my hand was forced

Seriously?? If I couldn't play him, I'd scoop him up just so someone else can't.

My drop candidates are Deangelo Williams or Rishard Matthews
I think anyone else I dropped would help another team.
ETA: Farrow and Montgomery available too...I think the final 4 teams just feel that they're set at this point.

You think your roster is set wth Deangelo Williams on it and AP, Farrow, and Ty Mont sitting on waivers ?

Exactly what I just did. Let's just say he does have a good game this week, I don't have to worry about someone else picking him up for the championship game

If you don't have Bell, I would pick up a flier and drop DeAngelo
Posted on 12/16/16 at 10:41 pm to forksup
I would say frick it in either situation. As a Bell owner at this point I expect to be able to roll the dice on Bell going forward for the next 1-2 weeks. I need to push chips in to play to win. If AP is on the wire he has more value than Deangelo because he will get real snaps this week and potentially a full workhorse load next week.
Everyone that points to him having a bum start needs to remember Zeke was held to 50 yards in opening week too behind the best rushing line in football.
Defenses only get more fatigued and AP has not been getting hit all year. If AP even has 60% of his old juice he can wreck shop on/against your team. He was the no.2 fantasy back just a year ago.
people stashing DWill at this point better have one hell of a lineup because they are playing for next week and not for the semi's or round 1 of their final.

I am playing the number 1 seed in my league. Surprisingly he just picked up AP and put him in his lineup. Going to be interesting.

Yeah, I am all for it. He may strike gold but think it is a panic move.
