There is a great likelihood that you are the reason for your wife's discontent.

I was tipped off by the fact you have three kids and consider a perk to getting a divorce is being able to chase trashy poon. I feel bad for your children.

converse is also true. don't take the fact she stays home to raise the kids, cook, clean & run errands for granted either.

It is pretty annoying when people reply with a partial quote to make their response seem like a good rejoinder the other person didn't address.

quote:

all they want is to feel they're loved by you. seriously. that's it.

You know enough about relationships to know this kind of insipid oversimplification is incompletely true and often not the issue at all. The worst starting point for any relationship is the "happy wife = happy life" platitude. It sets up an unequal relationship, a lack of mutual appreciation, and expectations that can not be fairly fulfilled in an equal relationship.

The only debt we have is our house....could sell it and break even. I'm cool with dividing assets because, technically, she deserves it. Also figured in spousal and child support...should leave me with 2/3 of current income.

After support, be ready for her to have 2/3rds of it. That 2/3rds of income retained notion is so ridiculously optimistic.

Put her over your knee and spank her when she starts acting like a bitch, it will either change her or you can divorce her but its worth a shot.

Delusion. Better lawyer up.

With 3 kids you're going to be paying support for the next 10+ years and it will increase as your salary increases. And it won't be cheap. Plus, you'll be paying for half of other expenses outside of support. And this doesn't include alimony, if you wind up having to pay it.

See above...you won't have the money to do this.

Wow, you sure know a lot about Tyga Woods' marriage. Perhaps you could provide some helpful advice for him, although I do certainly appreciate your feedback.

Wife is always angry.

no wonder

both of you are kids pissed off that you don't get to play.

go to couple's counseling together.

find out what her issues are.

meanwhile, while you get up the courage to face your own stuff,
read this
CNVC.COM (center for non-violent communication)

you will learn how to express your needs without targeting your wife as bad.
you can later ask that she learns it too. read it together.
maybe choose a professional from the website who works near you and use it as the basis of your couple-work.

Peace. Out.

control freaks are either scared or modeling some parent.

figure it out.

in the meanwhile be a saint and help her to be safe, feel served.
be a mensch.

quote:

"mensch" is "someone to admire and emulate, someone of noble character. The key to being 'a real mensch' is nothing less than character, rectitude, dignity, a sense of what is right, responsible, decorous."[2] The term is used as a high compliment, implying the rarity and value of that individual's qualities.

its from CICERO, Latin

quote:

In Yiddish, mentsh roughly means "a good person". The word has migrated as a loanword into American English, where a "mensch" is a particularly good person, similar to a "stand-up guy", a person with the qualities one would hope for in a friend or trusted colleague. Mentshlekhkeyt (Yiddish , German Menschlichkeit) refers to the properties which make a person a "mensch".

During the Age of Enlightenment, in Germany the term Humanität, in the philosophical sense of "compassion", was used in Humanism to describe what characterizes a "better human being". The concept goes back to Cicero's humanities, which was literally translated as Menschlichkeit in German, from which the Yiddish word derives.

Can you tell me a bit more about this? I always hear that those expenses are what child support is for.

I have also heard that many women take the support and have a constant list of other things they need you to pay them for.

I would like to hear more about this part from some guys who have been there.

this X 1000. even the best-natured woman (and god knows those are rare birds) can only see so much of everyone else's awesome lives without getting bitchy at the man who doesn't provide the experiences those other husbands are providing.
