With Brennan recommitting, whats the likelyhood of us seeing him start?

with a "new" head coach and new OC is this going to be an open competition at QB?? Brennan seems very football intelligent so picking up the playbook shouldn't be a problem. Has Etling done enough to secure the starting role? I guess time will tell but I wouldn't be opposed to Brennan starting if he gives us the best opportunity to win and score points.

I'd like for someone in the media to pose that question to Canada. what's his philosophy on this? Would he rather mold a young quarterback into what he wants and have him start (with growing pains) or go with the more senior guy in Etling.

Have a senior returning starter. He should red shirt and compete for starting job after that

Hopefully, he redshirts. If we really struggle at QB, he will get some playing time, but we should all hope that doesn't happen.

has Brennan answered any questions regarding the possibility of getting a red shirt?

you remember what Hodson looked like? I get what you're saying and I agree he needs to gain a few lbs but it's not like it hasn't been done before with successful outcomes.

LSU returns 4 scholarship QBs (unless one or more transfer in the off-season) for 2017.

I would think that, by definition, Lindsay Scott and Justin McMillan would get evaluations this spring - behind the presumptive #1 Etling and #2 Harris. McMillan will be a sophomore in 2017. I believe Scott redshirted this year, but not 100% certain.

Brennan and Narcisse (if applicable) are both presumptive redshirts, absent some catastrophe in 2017.

What's the deal with everyone forgetting the QBs we already have on the roster?

No way in hell he starts. Maybe if the 4 (3 if Harris transfers) get hurt. So, 0.001%?

He's 175 lbs. and not an early enrollee.

He 100% needs to redshirt and add a ton of weight.
