Has anybody been watching this Leah Remini show about Scientology on A&E?

It's unreal. She was in the cult her entire life, and now she's exposing the shite out of it. These stories of people being separated from their families, and the retribution they experience when they try to leave, are hair raising. And the money they have to spend is to obtain spiritual perfection is literally in the hundreds of thousands, and sometimes millions, of dollars.
Next week's episode is going to be a hit piece on the dear leader, David Miscavage. Must see TV. He might have her killed.

I've seen enough from the commercials to know that she is loving her renewed 15 minutes of fame. Dropping the word frick on a promo? Super edgy

I hope not. I have a bit of a crush and she hasn't done a nude spread yet.

Leah will always be Stacy Carosi to me.

Some of the stories on there were creepy. The camera in the birdhouse; the lady who moved in next door only to follow them when they moved out.

Yeah I have watched.
It's incredible the shite this cult gets away with

I've been watching it.
I'm mixed. Leah Remini used her celebrity power and exposure to push this shite for years. She needs to raise her hand and acknowledge her part more than she has. Perhaps she believes that she is doing her part by doing the show. I don't agree.
I am, however, fascinated by the show. My dad and my aunt (his sister) got hung up with this shite when I was in high school. My aunt gave me an L. Ron Hubbard book when I was in high school, and I threw it away unread.
I believe in God, but religion has confused me for a while.

I'll have to check this out. I saw some doc on HBO. That tax free religious status they received is pretty hilarious/scary

HBO did a show a few months ago about Scientology which was pretty good. Was better than this Leah remini show.

I'm enjoying her show because whack job shite like Scientology interests me, but it's no Going Clear. That was a great show.

I agree. Love the show but she kinda sucks.

I can tell you this. If you leave the "church" after doing some services, they will track you down no matter how long it has been. I know someone who started getting mail 10+ years after disengaging. He didn't live at his address at his time of involvement. How did they find out and what do they want with him?
Edited to change "this" address to HIS address. He doesn't live here with me.

I didn't know that. I have HBO--will search for it. This intrigues me. Thank you.

It literally is watching people walk out of Plato's cave (which is full of freaks).

If she is not the executive producer of this documentary then I believe your anger is misdirected.
