Maybe they should run it first play against BYU. Just for old times sake.

People have no clue how many times that play actually netted a big gain.

I hope its the first 15 plays we run. Just to picture you and the others like you pitch fits like 5 year olds.

Toss dive is a good play. It allows the running back to see the best blocking lane and accelerate to the line. Nothing wrong with it, except when you telegraph that that is all you are considering doing.

I actually like the toss "off tackle". The "toss dive" not so much. But I think most people think these are one in the same.

I don't mind the toss dive. What I do mind is stubbornly, mindlessly, and consistently running toss-dives at defenses built to stop toss-dives (BAMA).

I hope Canada calls a toss dive as the first play from scrimmage for Pitt's bowl game vs Northwestern

Can you rename the thread Toss Dive appreciation thread and post Stevan Ridleys game winning toss dive vs Tennessee gif.

I get that it can be a good play. I've nothing against it. But what is the reason LSU runs it so much more often than any other team, college or pro?

LSU v Ole Piss
BTW, 2 of LF7's long TD runs were from the toss dive to the right. Jus Saying

Also, we didn't run that play once vs Bama. You have no clue what you speak of...
