Repeated over and over again how his scheme would depend on the type of players we had. Find out who the winners are and find a scheme that will win with those players. Said that specifically about QB

I like it. I like it a lot

Weird press conference. Felt like he thought he was still talking about coaching at Pitt for some of the answers.

Well, the gist of it is that he seems genuinely pumped. He has a great presser personality but did say a couple of things that were more out of excitement like he beat Bama back in '03. I got the feeling that everyone pretty much looked at him like that didn't count.

I think that CEO got him a good one. Either way, next season is going to be a tough one with the players that we are losing.

Here's something people should read when seeing the transition of Canada and how well he is able to get an offense going in the first year with QBs:

"This season, Canada groomed a Tennessee reject in Nathan Peterman into the ninth-most efficient quarterback in the country. Before that he helped Florida reject Jacoby Brissett find his way into the NFL. Before that, at Northern Illinois, he was turning a guy named Chandler Harnish into one of the most productive quarterbacks in college football."

I just found it interesting to those that say he hasn't done much in developing quarterbacks or making them better. He's done it at damn near every place he's been.

Nah. Only the closet Bama lovers would look at him like that.

I think we got the right OC. He seemed geeked to be OC at LSU and brought up the talent that LSU gets. I can't wait for Spring Practice to get here and see him work his magic.

Just look at Canada the last couple of years, he's made guys who have been cast off elsewhere look solid. Etling will be fine next year in this offense.

Canada will start calling recruits today
Myles Brennan come on down! That should be the first call to make.

If he wants to run multiple Offenses, make in-game adjustments on the fly and have a good balance of Run/Pass, he's your man for the future.

Get the defense used to one style of play-calling, then put Scott in there to totally change it all, during the game. Money.

Etling, Scott and Brennan for 17 should be the best QB Trio LSU has ever had. (Then, Zadock arrives in 18, if he sticks with LSU).......

I dont believe that Zaddock is a target any longer. Plus, I dont think he has been very productive in HS. Offered on measurables a few years ago.

Yea, imagine this guy and Les talking offensive X's and O's.

I could see Miles talking offensive X's, but I would hope Canada would know better.

Maaaan imagine Canada and O sitting in your living room pitching LSU to you! How could anyone ever say no with the energy.

Compare that to Saban and belichick. I mean they can show their rings to do their taking but energy levels are near zero I'd imagine lol.
