Looking at buying one for deer hunting. Doesn't have to be new... what is a good brand/model? Definitely need something with a bed on it.

I like the Mules. I don't see why someone would rather a ranger or any of the sportier SxS over the Mule other than trail riding. It seems the Mule is the workhorse option. But I've never owned one.

I had a Mule 610 4x4 and it ended up being a POS. I think it was a 2010 model.

Front plastic bumper cracked, attachment point for the front suspension cracked. Also sat too low to the ground for serious trail use, it bottomed out several times crossing creeks, etc. I never really even drove it that hard.

No idea how the new ones are but I would probably get a Polaris or one of those John Deere rigs

There is 3 answers to this question.

Can-am 1000
Honda 1000
New mule ranch edition.

You couldn't give me a Polaris anything. If Yamaha ups there CC's then I would consider them also.

Just make sure that your club/lease does not mind the use of them. Many landowners in the basin are tired of the damage they cause. Our club and surrounding ones do not allow their use after Sept.due to the massive ruts. On higher ground, they are great. Do not shoot the messenger!

Waited almost a month for a Honda pioneer to get in. Didn't want a 1000. Never came in so I bought the Polaris. No complaints so far. Of course I don't think I've burned a whole tank of gas yet. I know axles aren't good for aftermarket larger tires but I don't plan on putting any on it so no worries there
