Replacing Dalvin Cook does sound nice.

Etienne will get an offer and commit if Akers goes elsewhere. Jaluke met with him last Tuesday and JHS coaches believe an offer is coming and that Etienne will commit if offered. Kid is a stud and not a bad consolation prize. Orgeron is telling JHS coaches that he has Akers and Etienne evaluated evenly.

FSU is a very good situation with a proven coach and philosophy. However, if the rumored Canada hire happens, there's still at least a shot. That offense would also be very attractive to a back. His RB at Pitt put up gaudy numbers this year.

Probably too late though. Is he an EE?

so free year subscription or he has to create a new account? That's some gamble.

Not that it doesn't matter but say LSU signs Canada when the next visiting period begins do a in home with coach O and the new OC to show Akers how he and Guice will be used in the new offense.

He's an early enrollee. He'll already be enrolled when the next contact period begins.

Akers is closer to Cook than Fournette.

Cook has 4000+ yards in three years.

I think I'm right but you can't visit recruits but you can phone them during the dead period. If so it will have to be recruiting over the phone for Akers.

The thing is, LSU is a better situation. It's going to take time to adjust going from a QB in high school to a college RB. Even Fournette had to adjust.

I'm not denying that. I think LSU is an excellent situation for him. Get his feet wet freshman year. Then Sophomore year he is the man.

Some kids want to be the man right away though. Fisher is an excellent recruiter. It will be tough

STFU dickwad. O is a great recruiter, and we are not out of the running with Cam yet. We need to get our OC hired. May not get Akers, but we will get great RB's with O.
