Absolutely untrue. We don't care where Lane ends up after participating in Saban's Rehab Center for Wayward Coaches.

We wish him the best but there is no way coach Kiffin is headed to LSU. It's not just a lateral, it's a backward pass which would make no sense to him. Other than more freedom at play calling (and not getting yelled at), there is no upside. He already makes great money, so LSU will have to pony-up. His stock will actually drop if LSU ends up with a season like the Tigers just finished.

He will go where he goes; Bama fans appreciate his work. But let's be clear, Nick already has an OC-in-waiting. Many of us would love to see how Sark runs the offense.

Love the Bama envy though... keep it up and ROLL TIDE!!

@CaptainFid

#1 I had lunch with a Bama grad and fan yesterday and she admitted they were and are scared of playing LSU every year. That's before any talk of Kiffin coming here.

#2 You all don't want him to come here because you've seen up close what he's capable of running an offense. He's a douche of a HC, but a pretty darn good OC and that's all we need him to be. No need to set the world on fire.

JUST SCORE 11 Points and we would have beaten Bama this year.

I'm sure kiffin can sleep better now knowing that loser bama fans whose entire identities comes with wins and losses instead of their own relationships and bank accounts appreciate his service

Thanks for proving his point.

"bama envy" and you're the one trolling on an Lsu messagd board.

Except LSU would be paying him significantly more than he's making at Bama. MORE $ means forward not backward.

I realize this poster is a Bama fan, but what he said here isn't false.

Kiffin to LSU is a lateral move, and there's just no reason for Kiffin to make that move (other than a big raise). His stock is very high after 3 great years at Bama and he shouldn't want to risk it with a brand new OC gig at LSU.

My belief is that if Kiffin doesn't get a HC job this year, he goes back to Bama for another year.

We'll see. From what I'm hearing, there's a very good chance he ends up in Baton Rouge. Orgeron and Kiffin are close friends. Plus, LSU will give him a pay raise to come here. That's a bonus considering he won't have to work for that asshat Saban anymore.

Hey gump, can't wait till Benedict Nick leaves your worthless state and gump of a school. Matter of time before you and the other gumps get humbled and start getting paid back by us and the rest of the sec. As you remember you gumps weren't even relevant after 1992, getting your arse whipped on a regular basis. It's coming can't wait. Geaux Washington

Backwards move? U mean he gets away from all those red necks who screw their sisters and goes to lsu with more talent at the skill positions than bama, more money, and works for a friend instead of a dictator.

ROTFL. Will you let him drink?

Yet here you are defending a position you have absolutely no effect on.

Well yeah this is the place where Bama envy seems to congregate. Either that or Orgeron bashing.

I think anti-LSU posts by supposed LSU fans need to be archived so lifetime bans can be administered ad hoc should Orgeron actually succeed.

Typical bama fan cognitive dissonance "We don't care where Lane ends up" ... "there is no way coach Kiffin is headed to LSU."

For someone who doesn't care, you seem pretty insecure about it (2nd paragraph has a lot of rambling).

You're also on the wrong f-cking message board just so you can talk about it, so it must concern you.
