Well damn, I guess now at my school I'm going to email my professors at the start of next semester and asked to be called "The Honorable Captain Thomas W. Chandler, Chief of Naval Operations."

Um, no. They don't.

Absolutely. When I grew up the words "he" and 'man' were used for any nondescript person and no effort was made to indicate that both males and females were included in the discussion. The pronouns "he" and "she" were only related to gender when they referred to a known person. And that was entirely driven by how the person "presented" themselves. Nobody ever thought of looking between their legs and comparing what they saw to how they were dress or how they acted.

If a female could 'present' themselves as a male, nobody gave a shite. Admittedly, if she were to have been found out to be 'cross-dressing' she would have been labelled a mental disorder (which I still believe it to be) and maybe not trusted with critical decisions.

Never in my life have I used the "he or she" affectation in speaking or in writing. I will admit to sometimes altering sentence structure to avoid having to do that, but only if it is not too difficult. I will use "he" to refer to some unknown individual without regard or apology.

I'd go to jail before I'd bow to that shite.

btw - I've always wanted to be sentenced to some sort of 'sensitivity training' but I got out of the standard workforce before it became as much of an irritant as it seems to be today. Surprisingly, it never came up in my latter years as a high school math teacher.

As an alumnus of the business school I'm truly embarrassed and am stopping all donations unless they refer to me as Duke of Pussy Grabber.

You know - this may well be an avenue for following one of Alinsky's rules.

If they make a rule make them follow it and overwhelm them with their own rules.

I can see changing my 'identity' every day - perhaps two or three times a day. Creative minds could come up with a hundred different gender 'identities' with multiple 'acceptable' pronouns for each. Flood them with requests. Report everyone who doesn't immediately honor them. Concentrate on the President of the institution and especially their secretaries.

If I were younger I may even go back to school just to engage in this tomfoolery.

Tulane is, and has been for years now, an extremely left wing university. I started my under graduate there (later transferred to LSU). It's a southern hub for West Coast and Upper East Coast spoiled brats with all of daddy's money. Very few students are actually from Louisiana. Many are there on daddy's dime and not their academic prowess. Throw in a few extreme left professors and you end up with a liberal echo chamber in the heart of a dark red state.

Btw, is the weird guy that used to chill on his motorcycle outside of the union at night still hanging around?

Every Louisiana kid I know who went to Tulane transferred out after a year or two. Not all went to LSU but they damn sure went to Southern universities that don't suck off the batshit crazy left.

Did the Tulane student also make that graph in the article? Those sentences are quite basic for such an expensive education.

Well Fox, you have educated me about the follow up to the fraternity wall, which I didn't know about, and now this. Is there anything else?

Reason I am asking is the new Director of Annual Fund and Reunions for the Business School is asking me about having coffee next time she is in town (early next year). I want to make these situations known to her, since she is new.

I just blindly give a little every time they ask, which looks like it is going to end.

OP, I've heard as many as 80% of the student body is from out of state, many of those numbers from the West & Upper East Coast as noted here. Is that a realistic percentage?

I only went there for graduate school and was somewhat insulated by the Business School (didn't venture out much from there), and this was over 10 years ago. I didn't see much of this SJW crap then, but maybe I chose to ignore it or just didn't look, but this is getting to be too much.

I will happily share this news and let them know I am reconsidering my continuing support. I should have seen this coming when they hired that dumbass HR professor from Yale. He thought the crescent moon and palm tree on one guys hat was a satanic signal, until we told him it was on the South Carolina state flag. Ugh.

Well shite, we better stop before we figure out who the other person is.

The professor I was talking about wasn't there very long, so you and I were most likely there at the same time.
