so in the end, its nothing, because the results are still the same?
No. I feel like we're running in circles. It is not the same. The black loan applicant knows that the white loan manager suspects that he or she is not creditworthy, and has to run that gauntlet. Subtle body language proves what the loan manager is thinking and/or assuming. When the stereotype assumption is found not to be true, the applicant can see in the loan manager's actions and statements the "wow, you have good credit" realizing that it is really "wow, I'm surprised you have good credit."

Isn't the black person oppressing the white lender by assuming the white lender is oppressive? Oh, I forgot, all white people are oppressive by nature. Sorry. Totes forgot lol

No they don't. Do you speak for black people now? Are you saying all black people are insecure?

So, again, its nothing, because the results are still the same.
You are being quite patronizing right now towards blacks FWIW
If I were black, I would find what you are implying quite insulting

The federal government forcing financial institutions to lend a proportionate amount of loans to each race based on local population is actually a contributor to the 2007 Housing Market financial collapse
