Orgeron has a real opportunity here

Many of the concerns about Orgeron go away if he conducts a detailed search and shows that he is able to identify and hire a top notch OC. That would signify that's he'd be able to keep the program moving forward when he inevitably has to make a hire in the future. That would solidify him.
If he doesn't do that and instead hires someone from within his inner circle, just because that guy has great credentials, those questions will continue to exist and the concern about Aranda leaving will be continuous.
Unfortunately, it seems like he wants Kiffin and hasn't even begun to consider anyone else. That's a tactical mistake IMO.

How do you know CEO hasn't considered anyone else?
How do you know whom CEO has spoken regarding the OC position?
Do you have his phones tapped?
SMH!

No this board would rather melt if we don't talk about a name before he is hired

You have no evidence suggesting O hasn't talked to anyone but Kiffin. No one knows shite about the OC search.

And you know this because? I think you are pulling B.S. out of your own butt and guessing.
Don't give into fear. Be a man. Expect to win.

Sauces...
And logic would tell you that the only elite OC in his right mind that would walk into this trash can fire would be O's bff. It's either going to be Kiffin (looking less and less likely) or an up-n-comer we've probably never heard of with high aspirations... or we'll end up with Ensminger.
frick, that just sank in while typing it.

LSU, a trash can fire?
Time for you to go sit in the corner and start coloring, again.

Super cute. You came up with that all on your own?
I bet you think O is the next coming of Saban too?
If you don't see the issues with this coaching search, then your either blind or just flat fricking stupid.

You people need an iv drip of Prozac, xanax and bourbon. This is ridiculous. No news is ok at this point. Many OCs were coaching up until yesterday.

If he hires someone with great credentials, why does it matter from where the guy comes? I have some friends with great credentials that I'd never hire, bc I know them better than their resume's. So I have no beef with hiring someone with whom you know you can work, and with great credentials, all other things being equal.
