Get rid of the divisions and rotate everyone's schedules. Pick the best 2 teams

You must be very young. It's a horrible idea. It's all cyclical.

The East dominated the 90s, it was even in the 2000s, and West has dominated the 2010s. Don't get silly and mix up the division's because of the last few years.

The current divisions are damn-near perfect. Leave them alone.

I started a thread with this in mind on the sec rant. I think you could keep 4 permanent, rotate 4, and play 3 out of conference. Best two teams play in conf title. Ties are broken by strength of conf schedule played

I know we only played 11 games the last 2 years, but typically we play 12.

Just put the western teams in the west and the eastern teams in the east. Permanently fixes all the rivalries.
West:
A&M
Arkansas
LSU
Missouri
Mississippi
Miss St
Vandy

East:
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Georgia
Florida
Kentucky
South Carolina

That's fairly balanced too. East gets the edge. Could rotate one from other division and keep one permanent.

How does this fix anything other than favoring LSU to make it to the championship game almost yearly? All of the traditional powers outside of LSU would be on one side of the conference.

How but LSU just needs to get better? Stop trying to find ways around that idea.

When did Nashville move west of Tuscaloosa? Just move mizzo and Auburn.

NCAA requires divisions to have a Conf champ game.

However, SB Nation had an article on SEC realignment that was damn near perfect. Maintained a rotational divisional structure, maintained all historic annual rivalries, and ensured each team played ALL other teams within 4 years.

Hell no to that man. With that you would have 5 of the big 6 sec teams in one division. Talk about murderers row every year. Its just fine the way it is now.
