Democratic and Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee are working on legislation that would limit deportations if President-elect Donald Trump repeals President Obama’s executive orders on illegal immigration. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (Ill.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), both members of the panel, are crafting a bill........

The bill is likely to have the support of another Republican on the committee, Sen. Jeff Flake (Ariz.). He was a member of the so-called Gang of Eight that put together the comprehensive immigration reform bill that passed the Senate in 2013.

Lindsey Graham has also been a douche of a frick, but Jeff Flake has become embarrassing though. He used to be relentless in the House in defending taxpayer money, but since he got into the Senate he has joined the Dark Side.

frick them both. I'm regretting ever going to bat for the guy.

As Obama famously said "I have a pen and a phone".
Trump will put his pen & phone to good use.
And the snowflakes will just have to "snowflake".

I can't stress this enough. If you don't like something they are doing you can at the very least call or send an email.

In other words they are simply running their mouths. There will be no Trump-limiting Congressional Bill at this point. Not a chance.

Graham won't run again, but Flake had better watch his tail. He's up for reelection in 2018. Loss of his seat to Dems could cost the GOP its first-ever filibuster-proof Senate.

Graham preparing 'Dreamers' bill

they may as well become democrats-already. I hope someone else steps in to primary all of the GOPe diehards.

The GOPe had best wake-up. They think they will use Trump for their way. Their secret pow wows off on island resorts are well known.

They should be all voted out of office. Why any rational constituent would support this bill is beyond comprehension. No, I don't blame the kids of illegal immigrants; I blame the parents who violated our immigration law by coming here illegally. Children are often victims of actions taken by parents. It's sad but it not justification for disregarding the rule of law; in fact it stands as testimony to the importance of being a law abiding citizen.

He and McCain are both fricking worthless.

If Ryan actually lets this even get to the floor while Obama is still in office, he should be shot.

they won't be able to get any legislation passed

as for Graham, unfortunately that cocksucker does not have to face the public until 2020 - I doubt he survives another term though

Our current immigration laws gives illegals a fighting chance......if they vet out OK they'll probably be let in, if not, bye-bye.

Why can't LG fall in a sink hole & disappear forever?

frick Congress. All of them. NOW they want to work together? They all need to go. I think I'll make it a priority to vote against congressional incumbents from this point forward.

Graham is an effeminate piece of trash. I wish South Carolina would get rid of that son of a Babylonian Harlot. Don't worry, president Trump will put that punk in his place.

The problem with this hypothetical is the Republican members of the House, whose skin is on the line far more often than the Senate. No chance in hell this ever gets out of the House.

They are going to be all on their own when the left side of the aisle realizes, as I have, that we now have a president who is more than willing to cut taxes and spend money like a drunken sailor and tell the rest of the world to kiss our arse! Seriously....Democrats will be at the head of the line to toss illegal immigrants out of the country if they are convinced that Trump is sincere in spending money like a madman and protecting American workers with tariffs.....you ain't never seen the bi-partisan shite that is going to happen over the next couple of years....the only people not on board are conservatives, thankfully very few of them left, and the ideologically pure democrat....the rest of the Trump opposition will soon realize that the public troffers are open and all you gotta do is reach in and get you a handful and they will do whatever Trump suggests!!! We are truly on the brink of being great again....and all it takes is a little dose of Keynes well applied!!!!
