I'm pretty sure she called Rollo a son of a bitch in French, and a bunch of other stuff.

And then she most likely fricked his brains out

Looks like Bjorn's still running shite. It's not quite Ivar's time.

Looks like they're escalating things quickly. The rest of the season is going to be hype!

I thought they were going to spend a little more time on Spain before they went back to England

May the great heathen invasion commence! Can't wait to see Ivar rolling around in his chariot like the evil genious he is

So many different angles starting to surface in this episode, I have no idea what's on tap for the rest of the season other than the battle.
- Bjorn cheating on his wife with his mom's lesbian squeeze
- Floki and Ivar having their little fling with Bjorn watching scornfully from a distance
- Uber talking about killing Lagertha AND Bjorn, with Hvitserk betting he couldn't kill Bjorn and an "oh yeah? watch me!" type response from Uber
- The scarred-faced earl's bastard child hanging out with those 2 dudes (someone might have to explain that one to me, I don't understand the significance)
- Floki and his "new daughter," and also why she was so scared of Ivar
- The now-former slave girl that regularly gets Lothbrok trains run on her being freed
- Kattegat assembling all these defenses, foreshadowed to have some sort of weakness
- Uber's insistence on only attacking Ælla, Ivar believing they have to go after both kings
- King Ælla's daughter almost sympathizing with the Vikings and Ragnar's burial site being a "sacred place"

That actor is killing it. The look of pure joy/madness when he was riding was perfect. Can't wait to see him in a real battle just destroying people.
Love the Floki/Ivar combo.

Have a feeling Bjorn is going to check the frick out of Ubbe as well. Ivar was obviously pissed, but respects him. It did look like he was insulted and will likely try something stupid in the near future.

Apparently, he's becomes who we know now as William the Conqueror (Wiki Link)
Which is very very odd considering William the Conqueror was the son of Rollo and not born until somewhere around 1028 (per wiki) while Bjorn began his conquest of the Mediterranean around 860 (Wiki Link).
I understand that virtually everything we know about Viking history comes from the skewed history documented by those they invaded and by the overly exaggerated verbal story tradition of the Vikings which gives the writers and directors a lot of room to stretch the facts but these time frame's are way out of wack. Of course, assuming this is the correct William the Bastard (Conqueror).

Bjorn would/will destroy Ubbe. That's like a asking a middle school punter to be responsible Deacon Jones in pass protection (Deacon was one bad bad bad man back in the day).
Ubbe is going to get ripped apart by Bjorn.

I assume if it is it's because they want to fit as much into the series as they can. If they tried to make everything in chronological order then they'd run the risk of the show being discontinued before they could get to it.

FWIW, Rollo's kid on the show is William I Longsword (the kid he's carrying in the boat this last episode). William the Conqueror came further down the line (as you mentioned).
The the EW recap of the episode called the scarred-faced bastard's child, Egil. It says his father was Harald Fairhair, who was apparently a massive manwhore of a Viking with at least 10-20 in his issue.
There's some Viking-lore called Egil's Saga (wiki) that I think may be weaving together his background.

She may have thought he going to try to eat her.
Excellent casting on Ivar. That is one scary, crazy bastard. It's no small feat to make an impotent guy who drags his useless lower half behind him as he crawls on the floor charismatic and menacing.
