LSU is building a football operation that will rival Bama. I am not talking about building wise but personnel infrastructure wise.

It is not a secret with the amount of "consultant"/ coaches Bama has on payroll. They have 25

Saban gets credit and deserves every bit of it , but LSU has lagged behind Bama in personnel. As good as LSU has recruited Bama's behind the scene recruiting apparatus gives them a huge edge with recruit identification. Ever notice when Bama recruits they jump in rating, besides a Bama bias bump, they identify elite recruits that mainstream recruiting sites miss. O and Austin Thomas's plan will rival Bama.

The same will go into game planning and prep.

LSU IS SPENDING MONEY!! Just not on one person.

O was not my 1st choice but I'm willing to give him a chance. Is he can pull this off.

I will never cheer against the Tigers or their coach, but I will call a spade a spade if it doesn't work out.

Miles recruitied at almost the same level as Saban

still got dominated on the field

Xs and Os matter. O brings nothing to the table and is possibly worse than Miles in that regard

This would be awesome if someone of Sabans caliber was head coach. Instead it's someone that has a worse resume than Gerry Dinardo.

WHAT.THE.frick

How is Ed Orgeron apart of that?

We just need to throw the gaddum ball effectively and utilize what we've GOT.

This is saying its a talent issue, and Ole Miss says otherwise when it comes to Bama.

This is all bullshite. All of it.

Finally someone rational. I'm not a huge fan of O but I'm willing to throw my support behind him. I think he should have a short leash but he doesn't deserve the critisism he's gotten on this board.

Best statement by any poster today!! He wasn't my first choice but he is the coach so I will cheer for him and the players! If you stop cheering for the Tigers because of the hiring O, then don't let the door hit you in the arse!! I personally hope you never come back!

Any word in the S&C Program? It appears that the program isn't keeping up with Bama.

If Austin Thomas approves of Coach O, then I'm all in.

If true, and later proven to be correct ... it'll make me feel much better about this.

You're still asking me to believe that O and Alleva are visionaries. I just don't buy that.

Also: for $2.5M, LSU could have had Herman and done the same damned things.

A year from now you all will see what these so called "nega-tigers" are seeing now. Nothing changes. It'll only get worse. Believe me.

That sounds great is all things were equal; but LSU doesn't have a head coach of even a remotely similar caliber to Bama. The body can be great, but if the head is soft it cancels itself out.

Yeah, Bama has a shadow staff AND pays top dollar for Saban. THAT'S spending money. And of course you have to spend money on other personnel when your coach has zero tactical prowess.
