I thought Spurrier as the interim HC would of been kind of cool. He could have resumed coaching at the place where he left off. Would have been quite the story.

Nope. He's just a motivator. He let's his disciples coach, but isn't an expert on either side of the ball. If you go back and watch practices you will see it was actually John the Baptist who was responsible for QB development. Jesus CAN recruit. I will give him that.
