Is just about the last one I'd pick. They'll pay Herman 20 million if they have to.

It sucks, but I think we can kiss him goodbye if teh reports are true.

Too bad. LSU is a better job anyway. Texas has sucked through multiple coaches and has way too many in-state recruiting rivals.

Yeah but Texas offered $100 million to the midget and got shafted.

You can't win that bidding war.

Texas is not near the job people make it out to be. Hell they have been irrelevant for most of my lifetime.

herman will pick where he wants to go based on everything other than money. the money that top schools bring in negates any advantage relative to the head coaching salary market.

texas will pay herman around 6 mil. 15+ other programs could do the same.

what exactly are you basing this on? Cause it sure as frick isn't based on what they are actually paying their current coaches.

Don't think the money will be the issue. I think it comes down to which school will delete the No Kissing Clause.

Why is the only deciding factor for Herman money? Is it because money is the only thing we can't expect to equal Texas on? Because in terms of football programs and actual product on the field, LSU beats Texas right now, hands down.

Mecca of football talent (per capita, pfft) and a roster that's already loaded. He took a wide reciever and had him as an early Heisman dark horse before Lamar Jackson blew up.

Have to figure if Herman is the MENSA guy that I hear all about, he can recognize how good a spot for him LSU might be.

We're screwed. Game over.

Fisher will be better than CEO, but no guarantee that he says yes.

Herman earned himself a blank check this week. His performance on Thursday coupled with the epic fail Strong had today, he's about to become a rich man.
