If we hire Orgeron, this will be my biggest issue

I do not want coach O, but the following is the scariest part about this situation:
Why the hell wasnt it announced this week? If we wait til the end of the year to announce Orgeron, that literally means we used beating an injury depleted bad Florida team, and a backup qb bad A&M, as the litmus test on becoming our head coach.
If O is the guy, you should know that already because of the qualities he brings to the table, and announcing early is a huge advantage. The fact that the possibility is out there that we are making a hire based on winning those two games, make me want to throw up

Yea that makes perfect sense. We probably should've just made the hire directly after the Auburn loss so we could have a truly objective process...

Philosophy, work ethic, knowledge, etc, etc
If you are seriously ok with using the next two games to decide on making a head coach decision, you are insane

I look at it in a more positive light. It means we are trying to get a different coach.

I firmly believe some of these idiots would actually not want Orgeron anymore if he lost another game. As if that should be a factor at all in our future head coach.

I am saying if he is announced following the A&M game, it means we didnt want him today, but based on beating UF & A&M he got the job. That is crazy

wait, so if he loses tomorrow you still want O as HC?
tomorrow nor TAMU will decide for me. I don't want him at all, period.
but if someone still wants him after losing to a UF team who has like 7 starters out to injury, then you're just glutton for punishment

would also mean many many coaches told LSU "nah I'm good, but thanks for the raise"

He has coached 48 football games.
So somehow, you dont know yet about him but 2 more games will drive it home one way or the other?

If he wins out and we are sugar bowl champions I still don't want him unless Fisher, Herman, and a host of others say no.
My point is guys like Ruffin and the 104.5 guys are pulling for their boy. There are many sheep bleating the same thing...resume and performance be damned.

I'm holding out hope that we win these next 2, but it is ugly ridiculous 9-6 Les Miles fashion and that is enough to get us a new guy.
BTW, why do people think LSU would land in the Sugar Bowl if we win out? I think 9-4 Tennessee would get the nod over 8-3 LSU. Or at least if we had an SEC Commish doing his job.

If the new coach can recruit, hire a good staff then LSU is going to be a stellar team. Regardless of who the coach will be. Miles experienced success and I'd put him average when it comes to actually coaching a team

you are probably missing the point.

If Alabama goes to the playoff the next highest rated sec Team in the playoff rankings goes to the Sugar. If Alabama beats auburn and LSU wins out that team is LSU.

Yep, I totally agree. But I'm seriously hoping the reason they haven't announced yet is because they're allowing Fisher time to pack the U-Haul. Wouldn't make sense to wait if O is the guy though. Hopefully he isn't, I'm hearing he won't be, but still.
