Any Ohio Legal/Investigative Experts on this Board?

I normally will not ask for advice on a site but I need help and if anyone can help it's the OT ballers. My family (residing in Alabama) has been dealing with a custody matter in Columbus; it's been a very shady situation and the father has been able to seemingly control this court and the guardian appointed to the case.
Something isn't right, and our lawyer is not the best out there but it's all we can afford at this time. We unfortunately do not have OT money and since we've been paying for travel expenses and legal fees for a lawyer in two different states, funds are being depleted.
However, if I can afford it I need to find a really good private investigator. I need to know how much one charges per hour and if anyone knows of one.

What are you trying to find out?
Most PI's are probably $50-100 per hour on up.

A good PI is going to run you $100-$150 per hour. They will want money up front. Ask for a copy of their resume. You don't just want an ex cop. Get someone with actual investigative experience. An ex narcotics agent would be a good start as they know how to do financials.

I need to know if there is a financial tie between the father and the court, lawyers and guardian. Too many weird things are sending up red flags. I would also like some surveillance to see how the child is being treated fairly when outside the home.

Financial ties are going to be hard to uncover because you'd think they'd hide them well if they were shady.

I live in Cbus and I'm usually in the Dublin area 3-4 times a week. Actually just heading home from there now. I might be able to help you out with some basic surveillance.
