No license. The main wildlife agent in my area hunts hogs all the time. I would ask him to come over but he hunts them in greater numbers and bigger sizes. I think in Louisiana they are sorta like coyotes. Considered pests and no restrictions. I will check on this.

Not my first choice but a 12ga pump with the right slug take out hogs out if you range isn't too great. You can get a 12Ga pump for less then $200. Of course I'm a wimp and hate shooting 1oz slugs our of a 12Ga.
