You're an idiot. He's going to repeal Obamacare.

He's going to roll parts of it he likes into his new policy. That's smart.

I wouldn't believe any stories the media is pushing. They are going to try to undermine Republican power at any chance they get.

But Trump is going to soften a lot of his positions. He already has.

Of course he is. Just like every politician ever, from presidential candidates to local dog catcher.

I'm sure you thought that kid running for class president really was going to have free Cokes in the cafeteria.

The fact is, this is not a dictatorship. Many campaign promises cannot be unilaterally implemented and have to be softened or negotiated. Many of Trumps calls were purposely extreme, which gives him plenty of room to negotiate and end up with a palatable result.

For some positions you have to pick establishment types. They have to have some idea how things work in the government.
.
But the president sets the policy

Well, I mean, its pretty clear that he's already backed off the "totally repeal Obamacare" thing.

Did you think the replacement would have nothing in common with Obamacare?

bullshite. Are people not supposed to take him on his word?

Trump Original: Totally repeal Obamacare

Trump Now: Well, we might just amend it.

Me: Hmm, amending was definitely NOT what was promised

And now you're doing mental gymnastics.

That being said, its been obvious that Trump's positions have been completely fluid during his entire campaign. Anyone surprised by this wasn't paying any

It's is hilarious you are accusing others of melting. You're doubling down on your stupidity in a big way.

The best part is that he has openly stated before in interviews and debates that he likes the "pre-existing condition" aspects of it. So he's doing exactly what he said he would.
