They've pretty much kept him out of the spotlight except for one night at the Republican convention and the other night at the acceptance speech.

Hopefully the MSM will leave him alone like they did Obama's daughters.

Kennedy's were pretty damn wealthy prior to entering the white house.

I mean in all fairness, I wanted to sleep, too. He's 10, I bet he was sleeping prior to be woken up to go on stage. I recognize the importance of being on stage, but I felt bad for the kid. He just wanted to sleep. Perhaps they should've given him go go juice and a pixie stick (reference to toddlers and tiaras ).

Nobody else finds it a little strange that there is a relative dearth of Presidents with sons?

LBJ? All daughters.

Nixon? All daughters.

Ford? 3 sons (all adult when he became President, so it doesn't counter the OP)

Carter? 3 sons (all adult when he became President, so it doesn't counter the OP)

Reagan? 2 sons (1 adopted)

HW? 4 sons (all adult when he became President, so it doesn't counter the OP)

Clinton? 1 daughter (or not - and who knows how many illegitimate?)

W? All daughters.

BHO? All daughters.

So, 5 out of the last 9 Presidents had no (legitimate, anyway) sons? And the 4 with sons were consecutive from Ford through HW. And those were 4 out of the 5 Republicans in the last 9.

Most presidents tend to be older with grown kids, so it's relatively rare that they live in the WH.

My point was, a majority beginning with LBJ don't have sons at all, grown or not. And none of them are childless - heck, the last 9 all had daughters (as does Trump, making it an even 10, although he will also even up the Presidents with sons at 5 out of the last 10).

Kind of strange - and except for Carter, none of the other Democrats beginning with LBJ had sons.
