It hasn't come up on our ballots yet (that I know of) but just curious what the Poli Board general opinion is, especially with the majority being on the modern conservative side. TIA

Will be a long time before it's ever on the ballot here, but I'm all for it.

I'm in favor but it's ultimately unimportant to me.

I live in Florida where we just approved Medical Marijuana but I absolutely believe that personal consumption and limited home growth of recreational marijuana should be legal nationwide. Have it taxed and regulated like alcohol.

Legalize it and don't tax home growing.

I wouldn't partake but support the legalization of it.

Consider myself conservative on fiscal issues and liberal on some social issues including marijuana. Even my three very Catholic church going sisters are pro legalization. I could see Louisiana go the way of legalization within the next decade.

My political stance is that it should be legal.
My personal stance is that it's a bad idea to use marijuana.

I just feel like it's not my business if someone wants to do it. Like I don't think drinking alcoholic beverages or tobacco products are good ideas either, but they're legal so it's really not my business to get involved in people's personal choices.

In favor of medicinal. On the fence about recreational use because I don't want it in the hands of children and I see that possibility as an unintended consequence that may occur.

It will have to take afoot regionally in Louisiana for a quicker result (i.e., New Orleans/Baton Rouge). Otherwise, it is decades away from happening statewide.

The northern part of the state will be the last to go. Even in "liberal" Lafayette, the Catholic make-up opposes it, so it has little chance.

It should be legal and taxed with all proceeds going towards higher education (not trying to be funny).
