The Hispanic Vote

Can we stop assuming that Hispanic=Mexican. For example Cubans and Mexicans have very little in common.
Just because Hispanic turnout is up in some places doesn't automatically mean that they are all Mexicans and are all sympathetic to illegal immigration.

If they vote for Trump, i'll acknowledge it. If not, I put them in the same group.

The Hispanic vote has gone up 100% from 2012 according to CNN exit polling.

Call a Cuban a Mexican and see their reaction. They do not have much in common.

Believe me. I and my entire family are Central American. We are trump all the way. There is no consensus in our community

They vote for social services and amnesty in nearly identical ways
In relation to the election, they are very common

Per exit polls Hispanics make up ~11% of the vote and are going for Trump with 27%, the same amount Romney got.

So if this and the black vote # holds Trump probably overperformed Romney among nonwhites. Which would be the most 2016 thing ever.

CNN early exits have Trump at 27 percent with Hispanics--same as Romney

The DNC called it the "taco vote". Did that encompass Cubans or just Mexicans?
They weren't clear as to what "taco vote" meant.

Calling an Alabamian an Arkansan will offend them. Doesn't mean they ain't similar.

If the report yesterday of Trump meeting with Puerto Rican leadership in Florida is true, that can help him bigly with Florida "Hispanics." They have seen their island get destroyed by liberal spending policies and leadership. Some actual outreach by Trump could pay huge dividends in the I-4 corridor.

Well looks like even the Cuban Americans are now voting Dem this election due to the idiot candidate that had a blast pandering to his uneducated base that he already had their vote, and alienating hispanics

Exit polls aren't accounting for the west coast. That will probably swing it hard as hell.

Hispanic, when properly used, refers to someone from Spain. Most Mexicans are not of Spanish descent, or if they are, it's a marginal percentage of their genome. Most Mexicans are native American mixed with Spanish. The term for this is Mestizo.
