Shepard and James Wright watched a lot of plays from the sideline cause a certain somebody wanted a blocking TE and FB on field at all times.

I don't know if it was incredible, but it was a great catch. The defender had perfect coverage and put his hand right where Shepard had to secure the catch.

Miles used to love sitting Shepard on the bench during bowl games when our offense looked completely pathetic. It was always strange.

Because Tyrann Mathieu bailed him out in games where the offense couldn't move the ball. What happened after he was gone? If he doesn't change the Arkansas and Georgia games they may have looked very similar to BCS game. The biggest knock on 2011 teams was QB yet that position got better and team got worse. Mathieu was 2011.

He had CHI15 lining up to block over the TE too, I saw that and was like: Thats what he changed? move our top notch WR to fricking block. No wonder he got fired. I for one am glad he did, Joe saved the season.

Everyone is down voting me but won't answer my question Miles player Shep a ton in his career (although not correctly). The only thing that kept shep off th field was his own poor play in stretches.

Love shep, but this revisionist history that Miles hated Shep and never played him is just ridiculous

I'm happy Shepard is doing well, but he dropped a number of passes and had trouble holding on to the ball when at LSU. That's why he didn't get on the field a lot.

But could not move the ball past the 50 with 5 future NFL WRs on the 2011 team. Odell Beckham jr, Jarvis Landry, Rueben Randle, Russell Shepard, and James Wright. Also the O-line had Trai Turner,Chris Faulk, and Lael Collins. There's no way that much talent is wasted under any other coach but Miles.

Didn't Miles and company convince him to convert from QB to receiver? If he had gone somewhere that let him play the position he wanted, he'd be selling insurance somewhere now. Gezz you Miles haters are insufferable.

The way he runs with the ball in his hands kind of reminds me of Lamar Jackson, which makes reflecting on his time here sting that much more
