Coach O. USC Scenario

If Coach O. leads LSU to a good record, but LSU goes in another direction, I wonder if Coach O. gets consideration at USC? He was associate head coach and recruiting coordinator there for very successful teams and did well as interim coach there. Clay Helton is obviously struggling so the job could come open. According to what I have heard, Pat Haden was the main person who didn't want Orgeron at U.S.C. and he is gone now. Perhaps Orgeron has a better relationship with Swann?

Not that I think this will happen. USC has won a few games against weaker opponents and Helton's seat is not as hot as it was after a 1-3 start. Also, Swann has expressed a desire to develop coaching continuity making it unlikely though possible that Helton is let go. I just don't see this as quite as ludicrous a scenario as other posters seem to.

I think its possible. I know many USC alumni and they all thought O should've been the coach. The school loved that guy...students, players, etc.

No, I am not drinking. Your crack about my low number of posts made me review your sterling output. Are you most proud of the recent post where you called some other guy a dumbass or was it your witty call to have someone else euthanized? This is what you are bragging about? On the euthanized part. A guy said we should euthanize our mascot.The new one I mean.
So I responded in kind.
I don't post garbage. If people are going to act like children talking about euthanizing something while trying to be funny I will respond in kind.
Same way with your thread. If you are going to post a stupid thread where you know good damn well CEO will not even be considered for the USC job then I will respond in kind to that also.

usc will skull frick udub later this year and probably be the best team in the p12 at years end if they aren't right now.

I fear Arkansas more than anything else. I can see us not hiring O, but Arkansas hiring him and O becoming a thorn recruiting wise for the next few years. Even worse than that, Bo Davis was let go before the season bc of recruiting violations. Saban hires O and we are screwed for the next 4 plus seasons.

As much as it pains me to say, SC will not be making a change. Even if they did it wouldn't be for Coach O. Helton has been bailed out by Darnold and a horrible Pac 12. We'll likely finish 8-4 this year.
