Thanks.. I guess what I meant was how does it stack up in terms of comparing to the other shows?

never watched any of those shows but safe bet they're not as good as scrubs.

never watched a single episode but I've been thinking of starting it

I laughed at the supporting cast more than I ever did at the core 4.
Cox, Kelso, Ted, Todd, and Janitor were hilarious. I just wished JD would say what he had to say because he was the main character so those guys could say something funny.

The relationship between J.D. and Turk is one all dudes should be jealous of. Loved the episode when Carla and Turk came back from their honeymoon

I absolutely love Scrubs! The music score is amazing. Still hear songs and it reminds me of the show.
So many great lines & characters.

The Steak Night episode is perfect. Tons of funny lines, huge emotion and great songs
When Ted said he had hand written the will, tore it up, realized he had to redo it and then said 'aaawww....I'll be back in 11 hours' I LOL every time.

How does scrubs compare to other hospital based sitcoms on tv now? (Chicago Med, Night Shift (if you haven't already, check out Shannon from this show, she's smoking hot), greys anatomy, etc)
What the heck are you talking about man?

that last season they made it too gay....I think turk even said to elliot "I can't believe you get to see him naked"

Only two episodes should not have been made IMO.
1. "My Night to Remember" where they pulled flashback clips from previous episodes. (Screams laziness)
2. "My Musical" where every main cast member had a singing number. No reason to write and film an idea just because other shows were doing it at the time. Terrible tone deaf actors made it hard to watch...
Other than those, and season 9 it's a work of art.

No love for "guy love"?

Season 9 didn't happen. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It was all a bad, bad dream.
The first few episodes were garbage with the gay JD & Turk show. I've come to believe Zach wanted to get fired. There is no explanation for how bad his character was. Whomever wrote the shower line for Turk was also looking to get fired. The security guards were a horrible replacement for Jan Itor.
Once JD went away, the show got better. By the time I get around to the last episode, I'm actually sad it ended.
I just finished a full reviewing.

I found a torrent file one day, about 9 years ago where they compiled EVERY song featured in the show for the first 6 seasons or so. It was awesome.

Thank you for this thread. I've haven't watched it since live airing. I can't believe I forgot how incredible this show is.

Scrubs is my favorite comedy series of all time
I've watched the entire series multiple times
All of this, though I could even remove the word comedy and it'd still apply. I actually started the first episode again the other night. I probably rewatch it once a year.

Not only is it funny but ive had multiple doctors and medical professionals tell me that when its serious its the most accurate show on television when portraying what doctors, especially new doctors, go through
Bill Lawrence came up with the idea for the show after hearing ridiculous stories from his friends that were going through their residencies. There is actually real life JD. I think a lot of the episodes, especially early on, were based on their experiences.
