May be on the move from BR to Tampa and looking into areas where the wife (no pics) and I could possibly settle down.

Lived in the Tampa Palms subdivision for 2 years. Liked the place and it a good neighborhood if you have kids. HS and MS are zoned to Freedom HS/MS if you have any that age.

Tampa is a solid city. Very underrated.
I'd move there over Nashville.

Depends on where you are working. Hefty drive to get from the Temple Terrace area to Town and Country. But plenty of great areas in Tampa. Brandon is more.of the suburbs and is closer to Polk County (publix hq, geico hq, amazon fulfillment center) if thats an area your wife would look to work.

I have some friends that live in Bradenton. They really enjoy it.

South Tampa and Davis Island are fantastic areas. It is really expensive down there. Old Carollwood is nice as well. In the early 90's I lived in the Town and Country area which was really convenient and affordable back then. I drove through there a few years ago and it had really improved.
If I couldn't live in South Tampa, I would try and live across the bay in Pinellas county. It's really nice over there if commuting isn't an issue for you.
I loved living in the Bay area. It was better than Orlando in every possible way.

Mons Venus is a dollar ballet close to Raymond James stadium.
What area are you going to be working in?
Davis Island is a baller area.
You would want your commute to keep you off of I-4, I-275,and I-75. A wreck backs them up for a half hour.
