Yeah I feel like they could really make up for it if they just completely flip the script the last couple of season and bring out the side of Cartman we all know is there.

wouldn't say this is their worst season ever. That's an exaggeration to me,
Which seasons do you consider worse? I'm generally curios.
You think. Seasons 9-16 are all worse than this one?

I watched the Halloween episode where Satan throws his Sweet 16 party, and it was clever and hilarious.
And then the new episode came on and it was just meh. I'll keep watching to see where the season goes, and it's only 30 minutes, but I really don't laugh at much during the newer episodes.

Season 12
Season 13
That's not to say that there are some gems in those seasons, but overall, not so great. This is my opinion.
The butthurt is strong with you. I post something that points out how repetitive you are in south park threads and your response is "jimmies rustled." I don't think you understand the phrase.

So would you agree this is in the top 3 all time worst seasons?

Maybe not. Explain it to me.

Maybe I misunderstood the question. I just picked the 2 worst seasons in that era. I'd say almost all of those seasons in that era were worse.
As far as rustled jimmies go, that implies that you are bothering me. Poking fun at you does not mean I'm bothered by you.

The worst season of south park is still better than the best seasons of most shows.

I haven't loved the format over the last two seasons, but I will say I laughed at this last one. The member berries going dark was hysterical to me.

Member when Breesus didn't shite on South Park threads?

I have to agree, the past two seasons have been very meh
Last season at least had some good songs. This season has been awful

I enjoyed last season but this one is really starting to grind for me.

Breesus has been dead fricking on about South Park for a while now
The show was dying years ago, got a small boost from last season being pretty interesting and different, and then put the final nail in the coffin with keeping it serialized a season too long
I got through about 3 episodes this season when i realized this shite was terrible and I wouldn't spend anymore time on it
I read these threads almost exclusively for Breesus posts because as much as i hate to admit it, dude has been dead about the show for years now. People are just now starting to catch on that they've been out of ideas except sloppy political commentary and CONSTANT AND UNENDING BARRAGE OF REPETITION OF EVEN REMOTELY AMUSING CONCEPTS UNTIL THEY'RE CRUSHED INTO A FINE POWDER, when that shite has been apparent for at least 5 or 6 seasons.

actually i know the exact season it got shitty. 12. the season after Imagination Land. if i felt like looking up my posts from 2008 I'm sure i was bitching about it then.
The Britney shooting her head off episode was Fonz jumping over that shark on water skis for Matt and Trey. And the show was somehow plodded along for another 9 seasons.
The Stan shite coming out of the mouth episode that was pretty clearly about the decaying of the show's quality and Matt and Trey's heart not being in it anymore was a cry for help, but they've still kept making terrible seasons since then.

I sort of think the show would be better now if Trey and Matt stepped aside and put it in the hands of others, but they have too much pride to do that.

I'll give you this one. We were clearly on the wrong side of the peak at that point. I think the decline started in 2005 with the Sex Change episode. There were many memorable and great episodes following that moment, but the straight up bad episodes really began to pile up (I'm looking at you 1 Million Little Fibers!)

South Park has always been based on current events, which often involves political commentary. They are making fun of everyone. There is no crazy hidden political bias to sway opinion. It's just their style of comedy.

It was more of an escape in the early seasons. And again, I don't have any problem with mixing in current events, as they have done in the past, but they're just getting repetitive. And I don't have a problem with the serialization, as long as it's funny and continues to move forward.
Some of the best moments in the show's history were serialized, like Imagination Land or Coon and Friends w/ C'thulu.

Say whatever you want but the member berries are hysterical. "we're going to kill you, member?"
