So I will turn 38 in about 2 months, and I have never been married.
Not saying that it will never happen, but I am at point where it honestly does not matter anymore. I can be with whomever I want for however long that I want. I don't need a marriage at this.point for any relationship to provide some false layer of security or whatever.
When did you other likewise losers make a similar realization, if ever?

I quit obsessing about it and decided I was always going to be single and just make the most of it. Within a few weeks I met someone.

As long as you're happy, who really cares. Eventually you'll find someone. I love my wife to death, but marriage is hard.

My uncle got married at 42.
He has the record in my family.
You're closing in on 40.

My wife and I married later than most. We have a fantastic relationship....just needed time to meet right person. First marriage for us both.

I got married at 30. Didn't want to ever get married it just happened. Women are expensive baw. Unless you want kids of your own bloodline I can see no reason to get married. Unless you just wake up and say "frick I have way too much money and spare time"

Better to be single than marry the wrong person.

I've dodged that bullet myself. No need for contracts in which you sign youself as the loser..Unless she's worth more than you, its bad for business.

I didn't want to get married until 40. Didn't work out

Probably better than being 35+ and divorced.

That's because you are an a-hole, which is why the OT likes you.

Marriage is hard work sometimes, and you shouldn't tie yourself to anyone that doesn't make you happy. If that never happens...don't worry about it.

Not gonna lie, im early 30's and never married, it sucks real bad. Trying to be patient about it.

Marriage is a brutal knockdown drag out heavy weight prize fight. Ask any fighter, it takes training, patience, persistence, and the ability to keep getting back up and trying again. When all said and done, it's definitely worth it, but it's not easy and it's not for everyone.
