TOUGH QB

One would be hard pressed to overlook LF7 as player of the game with the night he had.
However, we all must consider the performance Etling brings every single play. Can you honestly recall a tougher LSU QB in memory? This guy has been rocked numerous times and refuses to show it. At Auburn when he took the spear and then took a grinding face mask to an unprotected face showed this guy is a Man. Same thing last night before half.
Other players feed off playing for a gritty leader and Danny, I feel, isn't getting his due as leader yet.
In a time of stat-hungry fans they forget about so many unstatted qualities that are a must for solid QB.
Through time we should only expect continued improvement from Etling.
Thank you Danny Etling

The best part about Daniel Quantavious Beauregard Etling VI is:

Tommy Hodson. I say that not to diminish Etling in any way but to give Tommy's toughness it's due.

Mett was pretty tough, but Etling just has ice water in his freaking veins man. This dude is a freaking gamer. And I love him for it.

I'm really worried he's going to get murdered by Bama

Mett was tough. Literally Superman in purple and gold.

they need to protect Danny in the Bama game
Danny is fearless but they are monsters
quick throws - Danny listen to me - move and don't hold on to the ball - they are coming

Not if the OL does its job. And the OL will be in top shape for Alabama.

Dude took a hit in the '86 Kentucky game that caused him to almost bite his own tongue off. Took some stitches (in his tongue) at halftime, trotted back out there in the second half and finished the game.
THAT is tough. That's a man.

Mile's blind loyalty kept him from seeing what now appears to be the obvious. The QB position must be a strong leader!

His incompetence goes well beyond blind loyalty.

Danny Etling has done an amazing job stepping into the QB role.

And you still have idiots calling for Harris to play.

Rohan Davey during the SEC championship game against Tennessee. He had to be playing that second half with broken ribs

We need to move on.
It's obvious Miles is an a-hole and the pumpers are gone.
Get on the Etling Paintrain or GTFO.

This was before all of the protection rules at that.
DE is tough and he will need every bit of it against our next opponent both mentally and physically.

I don't know, I may be an arse, but I thought his crawling on the field was a little dramatic.

Mile's blind loyalty
This is largely a myth, his problem was not realizing his dream offense was never going to work unless he was willing to shift it beyond second gear.
