agree completely...it is still not as easy for me to recognize his voice when scrolling channels as Hawthrone's was, but he is a top notch broadcaster, IMO.

Me too.. wasnt sure about him during baseball, but he has really grabbed me for football. At times I think its Jim on the calls, sometimes he sounds like him its weird but very cool

Chris Blair is terrible. He is so fake in his excitement. It's BS. I think the Spanish broadcast is far better and I speak very little Spanish. At least the Spanish broadcast sounds like there is legitimate interest in LSU and not some "canned ham" like Chris Blair.

I have only one suggestion for Mr. Blair. Since you are going to be saying Coach Orgeron's name frequently, Have someone teach you the proper pronunciation of his name.

It sure makes a difference now that we're moving the ball on offense with exciting plays. It's letting him add excitement and detail. I still miss Jim.

To be honest, I would prefer if he fully described the play as it was happening. "Etling under center, Guice single back, two to the far side, one to the near side, Dupre in motion, snap , Etling drops back, etc...."

I haven't heard much but he has a built in delay when calling the game. For example...he is at the 30, the 20, (Just crossed goal line), the 10, he scores. on the 80 yd Chark TD he should have said he is gone at about midfield...also when Guice broke his.
