Camplsu, you are a pathetic human being to suggest that Miles deserve to be crapped on for eternity because of 1/9/12

I have now been called a pathetic human and a ball-less pussy. Its amazing how many posters on here turn into banpans when the slightest hint of much deserved criticism is directed at their hero Les Miles.

"Why is it? CEO is the next coming of Saban."

You don’t have to be the next Saban to win college championships over here at LSU. The program was/is that strong thanks to LSU’s excellent location right in the heart of a very rich recruiting ground. You just have to be a decent coach and that is something Miles never was. Indeed, had we had a decent coach during Miles tenure, we would have easily won one or two more championships if not more.

he next thing you know LSU fans are going to be crossing all their fingers and toes while the AD goes out to get another coach. And who knows, this time next year we could be looking JUST like Georgia. Then who's going to be saying, "it's great though, that we have a change"?

it is great, man! I am enjoying the games. even if we lose, I guarantee the games will be more fun to watch. I won't have to watch fournette run into an 8 or 9 man front over and over and over and over again.

football is fun right now! i'm going to enjoy it while I can. I haven't had that pleasure in a long time.

I suggest you should try it instead of getting bent of shape that in your opinion someone is insulting one of your revered members of a godhead. what do you owe miles, anyway?

It's just that if we're stupid enough to make O permanent HC you'll be shining the spotlight on HIS deficiencies soon enough.

You're like a teenager who is agog over this new girl you started seeing a month ago. She's soooo much better than the girl you dated for the last year. Let me just tell ya...

I'm confused... why is this bet being offered? Did anyone in this thread actually say that CEO was going to win more games than Less? Enlighten me why this is even being brought up.

You are a retard. If we lose, I guarantee you it won't be fun.

I've sat through many high-scoring losses for LSU. There is NOTHING fun about them.

I'd rather beat Auburn 7-6 on a last second TD than lose to them in a 42-45 shootout.

So there was this old bull and a young bull sitting on the top of a hill looking down at all the cows in the valley. The young bull looks over at the old bull and says, "Hey, let's run down and frick a few cows!!!1!!"

The old bull looks at the young bull and says, "Let's walk down and frick 'em ALL."

Oh, and we ALL owe Les Miles a debt of gratitude for developing MANY boys into men, and turning quite a few into NFL players.

We owe Les Miles a debt of gratitude for winning more games per season than anyone ever has at my alma mater,

We owe Les Miles a debt of gratitude for bringing home a couple of conference championships and a national championship.

We owe Les Miles a debt of gratitude for representing our school with class.

Was it time to move on? Maybe, I just don't have the data to make a definitive statement.

You must be very young if you believe this. Until Saban came most of the elite Louisiana talent left. Miles, too, did a great job keeping that talent. I assure you that if we hire an average coach we will see a tremendous exodus of Louisiana talent.

I saw the same thing in Florida, BTW. Before Schnellenberger, Bowden and Spurrier locked down the state the local talent was pouring out of Florida.

We did.... we all bought tickets which in turn was used to write him a big fat check big enough to take care of his kid's kids. I don't have to suck the dudes dick while I'm at it.

and everyone will turn on Orgeron in a heartbeat.

So what? Coach O is just an interim head coach interviewing for the job during this stint. I wish him the best, but it’s not like coach O is the only coach we can recruit. In fact, in my opinion the open coaching job at LSU is the most prestigious coaching job going right now in the country.

Moreover, your operating under the stupid belief that LSU’s success all these years was because of Les Miles. I hate to be the one to burst your naïve bubble, but Les Miles’ success was because of LSU, after Saban came in and upgraded all our facilities and proved that we could be a perennial winner year in and year out. Indeed, the program won despite Les Miles.

Give me a break, he is already proven to be a much better coach.

Moreover, he's not actually the coach. He's the interim coach. Come back and see me if he gets the head job after the season and we will bet then. I'll be happy to take your money.

we don't owe les miles a f***ing thing except what we owe him on his contract. he got paid to be the f***ing coach here. he wasn't here because he loved LSU. we paid him a boatload of money and he couldn't produce because he was a pathetic, hard headed stubborn arse! that's just a fact.

he get or will get everything he got coming to him. he got his sorry arse fired because he couldn't cut it in big boy football anymore.

if he gets hired at purdue you can carry your sorry les miles worshipping arse all the way up there and camp out on his doorstep.

that good enough for you.

LES MILES SUCKS!

I'm not old. I'm just not dumb like you, as I watched this program falter under Miles for more years than I care to remember. Whoever makes the mistake of hiring Miles after LSU is a fool.

Now that doesn't mean that I don't like Miles as a human being because I do, but as a football coach I do not care for him at all. Indeed, I wish the best for Miles, but like I said, I pity the person that makes the mistake of hiring him as a football coach.

Until Saban came most of the elite Louisiana talent left.

Of course, they left because our facilities sucked to high heaven, but Saban rectified all of that by upgrading the facilities and the program, winning a national championship, and proving that LSU could be a perennial winner year in and year out. So all we needed was a decent coach to come in post Saban and keep it going. However, Miles wasn't even competent enough to do that, which is why he is gone. My only regret is that we didn't get rid of him sooner.

So he gets no credit for wins but all credit for losses?

He deserves the blame for most of those losses. Had he did a better coaching job, we wouldn't have lost a lot of those games.
