can we stop shitting on miles, he was a great coach and great ambassador to LSU.
Ambassador....maybe what the hell did that get us...some recruits. Other people can do that too.
Coach....hell no. The game had passed the man by. You can clearly see a difference between what we do now offensively and what we did under Miles. I blame Miles for every bit of the descent from 2012 through the Auburn game this year. The last two weeks have been the most fun LSU games that I've been to or watched since 2011 easily. Even in 2011 the only reason it was fun was because our defense was one of the top 4-5 college defenses of all time.

Agree 100% with you on miles ability or lack of ability to have a coherent conversation with the media. Will miss his A Want to Win, Just so you know, My damn strong football team lines, made me laugh out loud. Agree with above opins that miles left at least 2 Natty's that LSU would have won with Sabah, Fisher, Myers, even Mark Richt. Time to move on with whoever is fortunate to get this gig, Geaux Tigas

You also going to miss the bullshite like we didn't lose we finished 2nd, if we would have scored one more touchdown the outcome would have been different, etc......not me. I prefer a coach that speaks halfway intelligently. I mean I get that O sounds like a dimwit from Cutoff, but at least what he is actually saying has substance and makes sense if you can understand it

On the contrary, lots of posters are incapable of giving him credit for any positive qualities whatsoever. It was time for a change, but the irrationality of the kneejerk amti Miles faction is very obvious. He's gone and they're still talking about him. They'll be talking about him five years from now
I saw less push a little girl down and take her ice cream. When the little girl's grandmother protested he grabbed her tickets to the game and ripped them up. Not trying to shite on him or anything but I seent it.

I bet anyone here whatever they want to bet that CEO wont win as many games as Miles did.

Well that would be an illogical bet but give me the rest of this year and next year and I maybe could get there. It's not hard to win games at LSU.....it is considerably more difficult to win championships.

Why is it? CEO is the next coming of Saban.
Miles is shite to a lot on here so it shouldn't be a problem.. Right?

I already did if you keep reading. Is there a QB on the roster that will make LSU an actual contender in the next year or 2?
This is different then "setting the program back". What you said was just retarded and you should admit it and move on.

This ain't the nineties anymore. College football is all about money and resources. LSU has both.

CEO couldn't get a decent QB at Ole Miss. Why would he able to get one at LSU.

Camplsu, you are a pathetic human being to suggest that Miles deserve to be crapped on for eternity because of 1/9/12

The great recruiting classes have more to do with the fact that a lot of those boys grew up on LSU football and dreamed all their lives of playing for LSU someday. The excellent facilities also had a lot to do with that success. The university also is a huge drawing card. The fact that LSU plays in the elite SEC conference is also very attractive to recruits. The opportunity to possibly play for a national championship is also very appealing. Tiger Stadium and the traditions of LSU football are also a big drawing card. The overall success and prestige of the program despite the poor coaching is also very attractive for recruits, which has more to do with the fact that LSU is located right in the heart of a very rich recruiting ground and also has top notch facilities.
I’ll give a little credit to Miles for hiring some coaches that were fairly good recruiters, but not great, as it seemed like Saban came in and cherry picked some top prospects in the state almost every year.
Overall, Miles was a pretty damn mediocre coach and it was quite obvious to many of us for many years.

Disagree with your op on coach O, I understand every thing he says without needing an interpredtor. Maybe its a Louisiana thing but even the Texas media understands Coach yaw, yaw, yaw.

College football as a whole has progressed so much and change dramatically since then in case you hadn't heard.

It's not. His inability to bring in a QB is going be in LSU face for at least the next 2 years. That is 100% on Les' shoulders.

That's what the fickle fans think now.
LSU has beaten Mizzou and USM since Miles left. All it's going to take is a loss to Mississippi, UF, Arkansas or A&M - or god forbid, more than one loss to those teams - and everyone will turn on Orgeron in a heartbeat.
The next thing you know LSU fans are going to be crossing all their fingers and toes while the AD goes out to get another coach. And who knows, this time next year we could be looking JUST like Georgia. Then who's going to be saying, "it's great though, that we have a change"?
fricking nobody. So I'm just keeping my mouth shut on the Orgeron v Miles thing until I get more data.
I'm not even sorry if that offends you.

The rant actually thinks CEO will be a better coach than Miles was. Taking over someone else team and winning with them for half a season isn't reason to hire said one as the leader of the LSU program.
