can't remember the name of the site. subscription service and popular. he was a guest on local sports talk show last nite.
anyway, he was asked about the difference between o and miles. referenced that he routinely posted videos of HC's press conferences every week. under miles, most people clicked off after 2 or 3 minutes because miles never said anything. even on the big shows, while they asked Nick or other coaches about big issues - college playoffs, conference alignments, etc., they would ask miles about chewing grass. pretty funny.
made the point, which is not news, that it is night and day. folks are watching the whole video now that coach o actually talks football - injury lists, why certain players were missing, etc.
not news to anyone here, but it is great. I am enjoying lsu football more the last 3 weeks more so than I did in all of the last 5 years.
wish nothing but the best for les.

I am not a miles basher. when complimenting coach O, it's impossible not to put a spotlight on miles deficiencies. I appreciate what les did during his tenure and wish him the best.

We still have QB issues now and in the future and the o-line still needs depth. We just started getting the type of DL you need to win the SEC last year. Miles missed on a lot of important areas recently when it comes to recruiting no matter how much you and Beefense want to defend him.

You DO realize that we have only beaten 2 vastly inferior teams, right?
Look, I hope that O does well and the team wins. I am an LSU fan. But is plain stupid not to appreciate what Miles did for this university. And since he is no longer the coach here, it is time to move on.

Nobody said they don't appreciate what he's done over the last 11 years. It's also asinine to act like he didn't have major flaws that held this program back.

The fact that O is doing so well in a short period of time debunks the Miles was a great coach theory. This team achieved in spite of Miles not because of him.
