Guice for Heisman 2017

Not enough Guice appreciation threads. He's not going to win it this year. Not enough touches combined with LSU not really being in contention for the playoffs yet.
Does he have a legitimate shot to win it next year if he continues to improve, LF making millions in the NFL, and LSU becoming a powerhouse again with a competent head coach?

Depends on the QB's next year

He produces next year like he has in his starts this year, and the team can do fairly well, I think he would certainly be in the conversation. Especially if they keep him on kick offs and he can add a return or two (or at least some fairly consistent big returns) to his resume.

He's going to go all Barry Sanders next year.
Teuhema, Malone, Dodd, Clapp, and Weatherby return giving us experience on every single spot on the line. Etling returns and you have WRs who will be better blockers on the outside in Ferguson and Davis, along with deep threat Chark. You'll also have a much better offensive system in place.
I say he goes over 2k averaging anywhere from 7.5-8.5 ypc.

lets see him play against good teams first.
I think he is a great back, but its hard to win the heisman as a RB who isn't on a championship team.
Also his YPC is pretty inflated at this point.
