Isn't there a dedicated board just for this kind of ball licking?

You don't think Rodgers is elite?

If you are JUST going by STATS (which you probably are, as all Brees Pumpers do), then he is the best. No argument there.
Brees plays in a pass happy offense, his defense has sucked for years and the saints are constantly engaged in shootouts. It's the perfect storm for eye popping stats.
Brady and Rodgers are easily better.

Brady has had an impressive career; however, the Patriots have been a great team all around. Hell, they had a winning season with Matt Cassel, this year they were 3-1 without him. That diminishes his greatness some. But I will admit he is the only current player in Drew's league, and I can see arguments for him as the better player. But if you say he is far and away better you have lost your mind.
Rogers has had great seasons, but he has had a few mediocre ones as well. Last season and this one have not been anything special.
Championships are a team stat not a player stat. If you think it's a player (QB) stat Otto Graham is the greatest QB to ever live and will always be. To say Drew's stats are better because the Saints pass a lot, is like saying Jim Brown was great because he got a lot of attempts to run the ball. It just sounds stupid.

Heh. This has been debunked so many times, I just laugh and assume the people who make that argument are complete and utter morons.

Did it ever occur to you the offense is 'pass happy' because it's designed around him and the fact that he's great?
FWIW I agree with you on Brady and Rodgers.

Did it ever occur to you that this is 90% of the NFL now, and has no bearing on how great the QB is?
Posted on 10/16/16 at 5:30 pm to Cowboyfan89
yea youre right, Brees is an average quarterback propped up by a pass happy league. He's no better than, say Ryan Tannehill.
