I'm hoping for the opposite. I want a new game and hope they include the remaster as a pre order bonus or something

They definitely wouldn't make a remaster a pre-order bonus, unless it cost more, like $90-100 for both games.
Hell, they charged a full $60 for the remastered GTA V unless you traded in the PS3 copy

The only way something like this happens is if they give the backwards compatible original RDR as a pre order bonus to xbone owners. Bet that's what they do seeing as fallout 4 and dark souls 3 did the same thing.

Possible bounty hunter search party or maybe you have 7 characters to choose from..or an online posse that can be created..etc
New gen system with a free roam game that should have already been updated years ago can really mean anything.
I was always hoping it would take place during The California Gold Rush (1848–1855).
300,000 people moving to 1 area with cuthroat tactics and all the whores and violence that went along with it. Plenty of country in an area that had unique land, plus the start-up towns etc.

The rumor is that this will be a prequel about John Marston's time in his gang. Maybe you will start off as an outlaw and eventually leave the gang at the end. Bank robberies and train heists could be fun side missions.

I'd like this. Would be cool if all the gang members were able to be playable, like co-op. If you don't have enough people, then the remaining characters would be NPC's.

Really hope not, story was good for what it was but I would like a whole new "world".
Wonder if they would instill a "multi character rotation" like in GTA.

I think I read that that leaked map was an area to the NE of Tall Woods, which considering the climate in Tall Woods would suggest more forrest/snow/winter rather than desert. Assuming it's real that is.

I want to say that map leaked quite a while ago. If it's legit, that gives more hope to the "new game" crowd IMO.

Yeah it has the "Great Plains" area at the bottom that was at the end of RDR
