This game would have been a toss up if played. LSU may be ready to play big time winning football w the top 20 teams on the road - maybe not. I would rather play Fla. at Fla. later in the season anyway when our QB play should be better along w everything else. LSU could be on a major roll with all these games at home coming up so let's see what happens and maybe be a bit thankful that we get more time to get better and ensure victory as our old coach used to say.

They are all banged up. Wouldn't have been as tough this weekend.

Youre crazy. Lsu was playing lights out (CEO has given this team new life)and florida was missing its entire dline(literally its entire dline).Guice and DWill wouldve went for 350.

Fournette has more time to heal and you can bet he wants to go in dry on them. He's gone at them hard the last two games and this one won't be any different.

F Florida.

Yes. The silver lining is three weeks ago, WE wouldn't have been so confident.

The silver lining is that LSU nation has confidence again!

I see the possibility of playing a game during our bye week as a silver lining. The bye hasn't helped vs Bama. LSU could be in more rythem and clicking on all cylinders going into the game. That's IF we play on our bye week.

This, all of this. There is also the momentum that
began with the Missouri game to be considered.eta

"LSU was playing lights out" you say.... I agree at HOME against an inferior opponent. LSU's 1st quality game of the season in 5 tries! Playing on the road against top 20 team in the SEC is what I was more worried about especially w QB that has started only a few games. Probably just me. I see your point.

One silver lining for me is that LSU can use this in recruiting.

the FU women's volleyball team and soccer teams, despite the catastrophic events, bravely played their games.

Real character. Glad I got to witness it. Inspiring.

Stopped reading here...

Thinking that game would have been a toss up is a joke... they have a gimp QB... no DL... and a starting O-lineman out

Do better next time

The silver lining is that the national media will now be watching how the SEC favors certain teams....

The SEC" Network has proved their salt in "sweeping under the rung." Very thorough "housekeeping." Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Another "high character" outing for the SEC.

The silver lining is if LSU which might have steamrolled an injured Florida loses later this season preventing the LSU brass from falling into the easy trap of hiring O based on his results coaching an already loaded team.

"See that guy in the picture right there? That's Jimmy Taylor. Played for LSU and then the great Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers. Think he was ever afraid to suit 'em up?"
