One thing sure has become abundantly clear....

Les seemed to completely ignore his offensive staff outside of Cam. It seems all of our position coaches are delighted to be given the green light to manage their position.
add Grimes to the list....
come on Pocic to tackle

You'll remember that Miles had a heavy hand in #LSU's OL. It's now Grimes' to manage.

"Seemed" my arse. The quitter did ignore their input.

I have to say, I was blaming Grimes for a lot of the OL's problems, but based on Saturday's performance (and admittedly, it's only one game), I may have been too quick to do so.

Pocic and possibly Chidi at the tackle positions.

Les is a miserable head coach. I'm so glad his luck ran out so that he could be fired.

No doubt he did. Les loved to call plays and I have a feeling he asked his def co's to play a passive bend but don't break defense.

Was Les holding Aranda back as well?
The reason I ask is that our defense played like monsters against a pretty potent offense this past Saturday.
Against lesser offenses in the first four weeks, we had struggles and didn't seem to be taking the fight to our opponents.

the shite that comes out afterwards...goddamnit les

Damned near every quote from players and coaches has basically said "Miles sucked" without literally saying it.
Couple that with their ACTIONS and it's clear that there was precisely ONE thing hindering LSU football

I have no doubt he had his hand on some of the defense. They just don't improve that much with Les gone unless he did.

well when you aren't on the field for damn near the entire game, you're surprisingly more effective

And BeeFense and Choctaw consistently told us it was the fans' fault we were performing poorly.

Yep.
His absurd and irrational aversion to risk permeated everything.

Personally I think he did, but at this point it's hard to say because the players were extremely motivated against Mizzou.

After last season's fiasco, I think Miles just said you know what, I'm keeping Cam and we're doing this my way. Stubborness got Dinardo fired and the same thing happened to Miles. It's why Saban is still at the top of his game. He is not an offensive guru but he brings in coordinators that work within his system and he lets them coach and he is not afraid to give them an earful when he has to.

In a few years Miles will be scorned by all LSU fans. The amount of talent squandered is just insane.

It seems he and Cam just said: "change things? frick that"
