According to Footballrumormill.com, quoting local newspapers in W.Virginia, RR's brother has had death threats, his mailbox in front of his home vandalized, has had anti RR Tshirts mass produced, the mayor of his home town has had RR's hometown signs taken down around town, etc. But what makes him the maddest are the rumors being spread that he purposedly threw the Pitt game, and a trip to the NC game, to give him an out at WV and a chance at the UM job.

This is interesting and a reason why Miles to Michigan may not have been a good thing for Miles. I think Supah mentioned it, but right now Les has nothing but good feelings towards his alma mater, and this shows how quickly people can turn on their own.

WVa is a sad/pathetic state.

I saw talk on ESPN brds that the AD tried to renegotiate on the buy out of Jimbo is why the deal fell thru. If so, it makes it sound more and more feasible that he did back out on promises made to RichRod last year.

if you ever went to a game in Morganhole you would understand. I'm so glad we didn't continue that series.

i love people who say shite like that. Every coach works too hard and is too competitive to throw a game

my theory was Les knows that UM is a political shark tank right now, so he stays away from the job, does nothing but profess his love for UM, Bo and the UM fans so everyone turns on Carr and Martin because they botch the hiring process and without ever interviewing or even talking publicly about the job, Miles goes from the candidate that UM fans were sort of indifferent to or not sold on to a fan favorite and beloved UM son, thereby opening something up for himself at UM later.

Like maybe the AD's job after he is done coaching

I was listening to sirius when this was announced and they were really pissed and said it was much worse than the Falcons coaching debacle as they gave RR everything he ask for last yaer and he was a favorite son alum etc taht they expected to keep at WV forever. That is why they gave him everything. They really feel betrayed.
