Barry wasn't the reason Stein had a daughter, it was Stein interacting with his younger self.
I was up in the air about this, but with Li'l Stein's advance degrees, I'm guessing that she's older than Barry. Since Barry reset the timeline during his own childhood, Flashpoint couldn't have resulted in Stein planting his seed.

That and Stein told Caitlin that it was his talk with his younger self in the 80s where he told his younger self to spend more time with his wife that resulted in his daughter being born.

We don't know Barry's exact age, but we can guess.
If the series begins in 2013 with Barry in his mid-20's, let's say 26, then he was born in 1989 or 1990.
If Lily Stein was born in 1987, she's 29 approaching 30.
They're basically the same age, she's maybe a bit older.
You can also tell Kara Zor-El's age too. At the time Supergirl begins (2015), she had been on Earth-38 for 12 years, which means her pod landed in 2003. If she was stuck in the Phantom Zone for 20 years, that means she and Clark both departed in 1983, making Clark 34 years old and Kara 46 years old in actual time, but 26 in appearance.

So when Barry did flashpoint, he gave stein a daughter and because of the fact that Stein was existing outside of time while flashpoint was going on, he had no idea what was going on or even aware of her existence and it was only when barry went back to the old timeline did the memories start creeping into his head thanks to the time stream. That's fricking cool man.
No, STEIN is the reason that Lily exists. He interacted with his younger self.
Here's what Barry caused (that we know about):
-Dante Ramon dies in a car accident
-Caitlin Frost gets powers
-Julian Albert is the CSI in Central City
-Sara Diggle is now John Diggle Jr.
-Iris West-Allen is no longer the author of the Crisis article from 2024, leaving doubt if they end up together
-Wally West and Jesse Wells now have powers

You're in the minority pal. It's gotten pretty good ratings and has completely improved since it came over from CBS with good action, good plots and no stupid forced romances that look completely unnatural.
It gets pretty good ratings when they trick people into watching it.

It's CW's highest rated Monday show in 12 years.

We clearly aren't watching the same show.

Or that she survives.

Odd, she doesn't look Asian.

It had a good start this season but has quickly gone downhill. It has become an after-school special but without the subtlety.

If Iris were to die as a result of flashpoint, that would be a bold move on the part of the show (unless they just replaced her with an alternate Iris like they do with Wells every year).

Can't put her on a pedestal when a replacement is so easily obtainable.

I think this is a "smartest kid with Down's syndrome" scenario.

Maybe he could find one who wasn't so annoying.

You made your point. You don't like the CW. Move on and troll in some other thread.

I actually enjoy the the 3 other shows and have commented on their threads multiple times in the past. Granted Arrow last season was mostly negative posts, but that was the entire thread. I apologize for coming here to voice my frustration on having to waste an hour when I watched all the crossovers the other day and this thread was the most active discussing it.
