Next Four Seasons Will Be Worse that the Past Four Seasons (Record-Wise)

I want to get this on record before the post-Les Miles era begins. That way, when I say "I told you so" in a few years, you won't be able to say it's hindsight.
Miles is 39-16 in his last 4 seasons (10-3, 10-3, 8-5, 9-3, 2-2), which I think we can all agree were the worst consecutive seasons of his career. That's a 70.9% winning percentage (or better than 9 wins per season, on average). We'll have a lower winning percentage than that over the next 55 games. The same people calling for Miles' head for the past few years will have an all-new set of complaints, and they'll probably be calling for our new coach to be fired.
It'll be about a decade before the Miles haters start to admit to themselves how good we had it under him. Most will probably never admit it publicly, since they were so vehemently against him. But they'll know.
I can't wait to bump this thread in a few years and read the excuses people come up with for Miles having a better winning percentage than our next head coach.
Down-vote away!

I bet your next 4 posts will be worse than your last 4 posts. You should probably kill your self to stop this troubling trend.

I down voted to bring to light that posi tigers are now nega tigers, and vice versa. I'ts like the earth has switched magnetic poles and everything is in disarray!!

I will go on record saying you are wrong. Guess what? Nobody on this site will give a shite in 4 years what either of us thought.

so you think, fisher or herman would do worst than 39-13, & not win at least an SEC title
0 BCS wins since 07, 1 SEC title since 07, with yearly top 10 classes

funny I did the math and Les Miles is 5 - 5 in the last 10 games
i wonder why people were upset about a 50% win rate i guess we can't do better and should accept barely being bowl eligible????????

A 2A high school coach can outcoach Les Miles. Think about that for the next 4 years.
Posted on 9/30/16 at 9:08 pm to Patrick_Bateman
So seeing as Les was 21-13 in the SEC in that same time span or 61.8%, you think no one else can average 5-3 or better in the next 4 seasons at LSU?
Some people really overvalue Les' record here.

This is what is necessary to win the SECW...great recruiting(especially in the trenches which have sputtered at times especially for the OL) and a QB that has "IT" like I think Brennan has...Louisiana has plenty of athletes for WRs,DBs,RBs.....but we have to go out of state for OLmen often...too may La. Olmen appear to just be too soft..
now get an OC that can build an offense around the talent we have...Aranda will do at DC...but special teams need a new leader...jmho

It seems like you are looking forward to being right rather than hoping to be wrong. I think that's pretty sad for a supposed fan of the program. Even when I thought it was time for a change, I couldn't imagine rooting against LSU.
The coach is just a part of the program. I don't care who runs the show and whether or not I thought they were the right guy for it. I just want LSU to win.

Jefferson had IT, Lee had IT, Mett had IT, Jennings had IT and Harris had IT.
SOMEONE TOOK IT AWAY..

Considering the level LSU is at with (not elite however) with fertile recruiting grounds, thankfully NOT rebuilding... just retooling and the assistants in place (lets see if next guy keeps most of them) then if you're playing the %'s you are on the wrong side of it.
You might end up being right.
I will laugh my arse off though if in the next 4 years Saban retires, Ole Miss gets slapped down by the NCAA like the bitches they are, Chavis retires with his DEs going to the NFL, and Brennen ends up looking like what we wanted Shea Patterson to be and the next guy ends up looking like a genius.
I'd say all I listed up there have the same % chance (<50%) of happening, individually, as your net outcome.

0 BCS wins since 07: You got that one right
1 SEC title since 07: Swing and a miss chump. I'm sure it probably pains you to admit that LSU has more than one, but the 2011 SEC Championship belongs to Miles and the Tigers
with yearly top 10 classes: Wrong again. LSU does not have yearly top 10 classes since 07, not according to the Rivals site anyway.
You go ahead and keep throwing shite all over Miles and the football teams that he's had since he got here, but the guy is gone. You shitbirds need to let it go.
